His request was for a design that would combine elements of Africa and Asia with space for books, paintings and artifacts, as well as a working desk with computer, files and storage. The Cabinet Doors have panels of Madrone Burl Veneer. I designed hand carved elements at the Crown and Pilaster moldings to bring in the "African" feel and we used "Thai Silk" for Cabinet backs to accent the “Asian” feel. Our Client is delighted and tells us that this is his "Favorite" room in his new home.'},
